We are delighted to announce the acquisition of local Kent firm Bright Accounting Solutions Ltd

It’s been several months in the making, and a lot of admin, but we’re delighted to confirm that Shapes has agreed to purchase a local accounting firm, Bright Accounting Solutions Limited.

Bright was setup almost 10 years ago this year by Chris Milsom FCA CTA, based in the Aylesham area serving clients large and small across East Kent, and a handful of UK and international clients.

We’re delighted to welcome all of Bright’s clients over to Shapes, and excited about supporting a new pool of businesses across the area grow and evolve the shape of their business through better accounting and marketing support.

As part of the acquisition, Chris has joined Shapes Accounting as a Director and is now a co-owner in We Are Shapes Limited alongside Steve, Jim and Katy.

If you are a Bright client and have only just heard this news (we hope not!) then you can find out all about the transition and the process you can expect from your new Shapes team on the transition website here.

Huge thanks go to both Sue Leadbeater and Aly Young for their help and support in getting all the company secretarial and legal work completed superfast !

The best bit is always the outtakes…

We completed the acquisition in March and took the team away at the end of the month to strategise, plan and explore whats next for Shapes as we move  rapidly towards the 2nd half of 2026. As part of that we shot a short introduction to the team for all of Chris’s clients. But the best bit is always the outtakes…
