Hey, I’m Chris.
I’ve been an accountant for over 20 years. Originally I studied physics at University of Kent with a view to a career in engineering but instead I now work to engineer business success based on solid accountancy and taxation support.
I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2012 and then specialised in my passion for taxation. I went on to qualify as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2017 and have enjoyed the challenge of the frequent changes as the profession evolves.
I ran a successful business for almost 9 years until 2026, providing full accountancy, taxation and business support to companies, sole traders and partnerships across a broad range of industries. I joined the Shapes team in 2026 to oversee their accountancy and taxation compliance.
Away from work I enjoy rock music and gigs as well as practicing my skills on the guitar and drums.🤘
